Types 3 & 4 had never been documented as nesting in Wisconsin previously. The observations of Types 1, 4, & 5 were the first ever recorded here. Atlasers confirmed breeding for Types 2, 3, 4, and 10, with Type 2 being most common, Type 4 uncommon, and Types 3 & 10 the rarest as breeders. Red Crossbills irrupted into the state from typical haunts in the western U.S., including Types 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, & 10. Assorted Interesting Finds and Photo Highlightsīest documented flight of Red Crossbills in Wisconsin history: This year we added one new confirmation for WBBA II, a Worm-eating Warbler found by Randy Hoffman in Pepin County along the Chippewa River near Five-mile Bluff SNA. We have now recorded 242 possibly breeding species and confirmed 225 of those, which is similar to the 237 possibly breeding species and 226 confirmed species reported by Wisconsin Breeding Bird Atlas I (WBBA I 1995–2000). We just released this cool infographic and a DNR news release highlighting results through Season 4, but let’s dig even deeper into this year’s results to get a better understanding of the impact of our efforts. It is simply not possible to accomplish a project of this scale without the dedication of atlasers in every corner of the state. This would grant access to Switch Axe's unique Phial Switch Boost skill, but no other augmentation in its kit takes less than two Anomaly Slots.Ĭapcom said every Title Update coming to Sunbreak will increase the power cap on Anomaly Investigations, and as players get stronger they should gain access to more Anomaly Slots as a way of balancing the higher threat levels (though it's likely this would come with higher-tier augmentations to keep players grinding).
But in the case of a weapon like Felyne Fatality, the Paralysis-inflicting Switch Axe, unlocking the ability to use level 3 Rampage Decorations require four Anomaly Slots. These Anomaly Slots work similar to Buddy Skills in that they limit players on how many boosts can be used at once, which is a good way of encouraging specialization on paper. Many also include Rampage Slot upgrades, which allow players to set Decorations featuring Rampage Skills that are no longer available through the same activity featured in base Rise. Any Rarity 10 weapon can be augmented to boost stats like raw Attack power, Affinity (critical hit chance), Sharpness, or Elemental damage - though not every weapon has the same list. Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak's first Title Update added a fifth tier with new Afflicted monsters like Lunagaron, and high-level Anomaly Investigations drop parts like Afflicted Dire Horn or Afflicted Carapace that are used in Qurious Weapon Crafting. Four tiers of Anomaly Quests were added in Sunbreak, unlocking Afflicted materials that let the blacksmith craft Rarity 10 weapons. Every Afflicted monster can also infect hunters with Bloodblight, slowly draining their health unless the player deals damage. The so-called Afflicted monsters that have been empowered by Qurio have increased health, requiring players to hit their red weak points for explosive damage.
